Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry curriculum is designed for the person who wishes to specialize in working with the adolescent in church or para-church capacity.

The student who completes this program will demonstrate the ability to:

  1. Work with the local church pastor and other staff.
  2. Assist in meeting the special needs of the adolescent in his/her specific environment and functions.
  3. Articulate the functions and place of the youth in
  4. youth related ministries through organizing and conducting a youth program in the local church, including staff training and working with parents.
  5. Skills necessary to conduct youth programs including small group function, leading music, and counseling the adolescents.
  6. Provide leadership in carrying out the evangelistic ministry of the church especially as it relates to youth.
